Raffaele Della Monica cancelled his artistic
studies to become a fulltime comics artist. He is one of the
co-founders of the Studio CAF in 1977, that released the Trumoon
fanzine. He began working professionaly in 1982, when he illustrated
the 'Wallenstein, il Mostro' series, scripted by Giovanni Romanini.
From 1983 to 1985, he was an artist of the series 'Alan Ford'. He
joined the staff of If, and cooperated on Bravestar and the
Disney
magazine Topolino. He returned to realistic comics when he joined
Bonelli publishers, doing stories with 'Mister No', 'Zagor', 'Martin
Mystère' and 'Tex'. He became a freelancer and drew the series 'Gordon
Link' for Dardo.
